Disley Private School celebrated the 53rd National Day to highlight the nation’s achievement under the leadership of His Excellency, Sultan Qaboos.
It was a day the children were all waiting for as they came to school dressed in traditional costumes. Everyone – teachers, staff and students alike wore a smile as they go around the school wishing everyone a happy national day. The school premises were decorated with flags, banners and the national colors.
The day’s activities started with singing of the National Anthem. There was a special program prepared by teachers where students sang and danced. There were contents about the country and special prizes were given. The nationalistic spirit as well as festive spirit lasted throughout the day.
The day ended with sumptuous snacks for the students, teachers and staff in the true Omani culture. It was a celebration worth remembering.
